Meet your brainwaves.
Neuroimaging (EEG) experience in Barcelona
Brain signals can look like a mysterious tangle of squiggles. We slow them down, look together and stay curious.
You see the trace live and learn the basics of what those rhythms can and cannot tell us.
The Big Five shows how you describe yourself; the EEG adds another viewpoint from the session. A match can be interesting. A mismatch can be even more interesting.
Choose the live experience on its own, or add data analysis and a personal report that places your self-perception beside EEG-derived patterns.
“Realising that I shouldn’t always use the same strengths in the same way to get through situations where I feel stuck.”
What we do together
01
Arrive, settle in and meet your five sliders
We talk through the equipment and the plan, then you complete the Big Five questionnaire by rating how accurately each statement describes you.
02
Cap on, play with the signal
We fit the EEG cap, try a few small, easy prompts and watch the trace together so you can begin to recognise what changes the signal.
03
Rest, record and take a breather
With the cap in place, we collect the resting-state recording while you sit quietly. Then we pause for a few minutes without removing the cap.
04
Guided meditation
After the short break, you finish with a guided meditation while we collect another recording. Wandering attention is part of the experience.
〰
Behind the squiggles
Your experience and the signal become a conversation
We prepare the equipment, check the recording and look at the trace together. The resting-state and guided-meditation recordings are collected as separate parts of the protocol. If you choose a report, those recordings are analysed alongside your questionnaire results to offer another viewpoint for reflection. The EEG does not grade the meditation or pinpoint individual thoughts.
Inside your report
Included in the €290 and €390 options, the report turns a lot of signal into a few approachable views you can compare with how you describe yourself.
Your big picture
A plain-language overview brings several patterns together into a short neural signature and highlights where you may want to look more closely.
Neuromarker spotlights
Selected measures related to patterns such as sensory awareness, relaxation capacity and social adaptability are shown on a typical-range scale.
Biology meets self-perception
Your questionnaire scores sit beside EEG-derived predictions across Big Five domains and facets. Agreements and differences both become useful questions.
Strengths and stretch points
The report offers possible strengths, areas to explore and reflection prompts that turn an interesting pattern into a more personal question.
Example comparison across the Big Five facets: self-perception, EEG prediction and the typical range.
Making sense of your results
The charts become more useful when you place them beside your lived experience. You can explore the comparison independently or open it with a practitioner during the optional follow-up, connecting what stands out with the practical work we do in Neuro-Coaching.
Participant reflections
Different lives, different patterns, and reflections that continued beyond the session.
“
Knowing when to use my strengths
“It confirmed that the way I operate is quite unique and that I should use it as an everyday compass.”
“What challenged me was realising that I shouldn’t always use the same strengths in the same way to get through situations where I feel stuck.”
Sensitive attention, protected focus
“Looking at the report and working through it in coaching helped me reflect on how my sensitivity fuels my storytelling, while reminding me that I can care for others without always sacrificing my writing time.”
Speaking up sooner in meetings
“When troubleshooting a network issue, I like to test several explanations before acting. In meetings, that can mean holding back an idea until I’ve checked every angle. The EEG experience encouraged me to value my analytical strengths and speak up sooner.”
Choose the experience that fits
These are private, practitioner-led learning experiences. The live session is designed around your curiosity: you see your own signal, try small experiments with guidance and learn what EEG can and cannot show. Add the analysis and report when you want a personal record of the findings, or choose the complete package for guided sense-making afterwards.

Neuroimaging in Barcelona
Come to your confirmed appointment for the practitioner-guided EEG experience. If your option includes them, your analysed report and follow-up come after the session.
A report, not a verdict
The questionnaire and the EEG-derived scores are two different viewpoints. A close match might reinforce something you already recognise. A gap might open a question about context, learning history, your current environment or a strategy you have developed. Neither viewpoint gets to be the judge of the other, and neither proves a personality trait.
What this is not
The EEG is fascinating. It is not a mind reader. It cannot reveal a fixed personality or produce an objective verdict about who you are.
This is an educational and reflective experience. It is not a medical or psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment or substitute for clinical care.
Frequently asked questions
What does the EEG measure?
EEG records patterns of electrical activity at the scalp. The trace is also influenced by eye movement, facial muscles, body movement and recording quality. Part of the fun is learning to recognise these influences and part of the expertise is knowing where interpretation must stop.
What are the small signal experiments?
They are simple, low-pressure prompts that help you see how the live trace responds. The aim is familiarity, not performance: a practical introduction to brain rhythms, common signal changes and the difference between noticing a pattern and explaining it.
Do I need to be good at meditation?
Not at all. Attention drifts. That is human, and there is nothing to pass. You can later reflect on what the meditation felt like, where your attention went and what helped you return, then place that experience beside the resting-state and meditation views in the report.
Does the EEG reveal my personality?
No. The report places selected EEG-derived predictions beside your Big Five self-report. It does not prove a trait, reveal an unconscious truth or define who you are.
What is the Big Five, and why include it?
The Big Five is one of the most widely used and extensively researched scientific frameworks for describing personality. It looks at five broad dimensions: open-mindedness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and negative emotionality. You rate how accurately a series of statements describes you, so the result shows degrees and nuance along five scales rather than placing you into a fixed category. Here it provides your self-perception view, not a test the EEG is expected to confirm.
What is inside the report?
The report is included in the €290 and €390 options. It contains a big-picture overview, selected neuromarker spotlights, typical-range visuals, Big Five domains and facets, comparisons between self-perception and EEG-derived predictions, views from rest and meditation, and prompts for strengths, growth and reflection.
What if the questionnaire and EEG-derived scores do not match?
Then we have found an interesting question. A difference may relate to context, a learned strategy, recent experience or limits in either measure. It is an invitation to reflect, not evidence that one source is the “real you.”
What is included in the follow-up?
The €390 option includes a separate 60-minute one-to-one with a practitioner in English, Spanish or French. It is a session for guided sense-making and practical application: reflecting on the report, exploring its relevance to work or home and shaping individualised ways to try and test after the session.
Is this a medical or psychological assessment?
No. The experience is designed for education and reflection. It does not diagnose, screen for or treat a medical or mental-health condition, and it should not be used for high-stakes decisions.
Scope and professional standards
This experience is offered for education, self-reflection and personal development. It does not diagnose or treat medical or mental-health conditions and is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy or a formal psychological assessment. EEG-derived observations and questionnaire responses should not be used for employment, clinical or other high-stakes decisions. Your report should be considered alongside your own context and lived experience.
Neuroscience Week collaboration
Meet Incarnation Radisson
For Neuroscience Week in Barcelona, we are collaborating on this experience. Incarnation will support the neuroimaging part of the sessions, including preparing the EEG cap and helping collect the recordings.
She is an entrepreneur, professional coach and EEG practitioner whose work brings together business experience, coaching and EEG-based self-awareness exploration.
